  Continuous Improvement Coordinator
The Continuous Improvement Coordinator will work in conjunction with existing Manufacturing, Installation, Engineering, and Sales personnel to identify areas for improvement and implement procedure to meet established business goals. Goals will consist of quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, and cost metrics, and will require quantitive analysis to show trends and ultimate results. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead problem-solving efforts to improve quality and eliminate waste in all areas of Manufacturing/Installation utilizing a "hands-on" systematic approach to problem solving; Study all production & business processes, making recommendations for optimization; Compare processes at all sites - recommending preferred processes; Develop and implement strategies to increase production throughout; Generate business plans for launching new/modified production operations including capital selection, installation timeline management and runoff, cost analysis and labor planning. Job requirements include: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration; 5 years of related Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing experience preferred; Manufacturing/Operations management preferred; Truck Equipment Installation experience a plus; Experience with conducting time studies, work flow analysis and other methods of determining value added and non-value added time during operations; Understanding of welding principles and experience launching robotic welding operations; Hand welding experience a plus; Firm understanding of MS Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Experience with 2D CAD system required, 3D preferred; Ability to convey work flow concepts to plant employees from Management to entry level.
